As the largest electric scooter retailer in Europe, MaxBlinker boasts an impressive annual turnover exceeding 3 million euros. The company is now eager to extend its reach to encompass the entire European market and potentially expand into the US. My mission was to prepare a comprehensive and dynamic new website that will facilitate the company's ambitious expansion plans for the upcoming year.

Description
As the lead, I orchestrated the intricate website creation for Max Blinker. We embarked on a journey of comprehensive user research, wireframing, and the entire graphics process. Discovering numerous user needs, we crafted tailored solutions to elevate the website to new heights.

Process
We crafted a modern e-commerce experience, incorporating interactive graphics that adhere to Max Blinker's design guidelines. Through personal in-depth interviews and HotJar maps, we pinpointed vital user needs and identified core pain points on the old website.
Challenge: Users struggle with selecting the right electric scooter.
Through interviews with existing customers and HotJar maps, we discovered a common challenge: users landing on the main product category page often felt confused. Many were newbies, unsure how to filter or choose the right e-scooter.
Solution:
To address this, we introduced the Max Blinker Recommendations section at the top of the page. With an interactive slider, users can now explore recommended electric scooters for specific categories, such as beginners, advanced drivers, school/work commuters, or off-road enthusiasts. This intuitive addition provides users with enhanced clarity, making the selection process faster and more informed.
Challenge: Some e-scooter producers provide unrealistic parameters.
During our research, I was surprised by the number of e-scooter producers providing unrealistic information about their products. As a result, customers often return to the store, disappointed that their newly purchased electric scooter lacks the promised speed or acceleration.
Solution:
With Max Blinkers testing team, we introduced a comprehensive parameter comparison table. Users can now compare official and independent test results visually. This transparency builds trust, showcasing MaxBlinker as a reliable and honest seller. Customers gain a clear view of product reality, fostering confidence in their purchase decisions.
